2026 認字比賽 Word Recognition Contest
本校將於四月十九日以實體方式舉辦第六屆中文認字比賽，誠摯邀請所有一年級以上的學生參加。認讀國字是學習中文重要的一環，學生藉著參與此項活動，能複習今年和前一年學過的生字，並培養使用字卡的習慣，加強識字量。
CSL 2+ students are encouraged to participate in the 2026 Word Recognition Contest. To prepare for this contest, students will review the words learned this year. It will be a great way to reinforce the learning of Chinese characters and vocabulary, while getting students into the habit of reviewing with flashcards on a regular basis.
- 比賽方式 General Rules
- 生字範圍: 本學年截至三月三十日前學過的生字以及前一年的生字。舉例來說，傳統班二年級學生的比賽範圍是美洲華語第一冊以及第二冊一至八課所有生字。請點此連結 https://tinyurl.com/56by8whc 下載字卡以便複習。每一個班級的字卡檔案已包含前一年所學的生字 Contents: Students will be tested from a set of slides, consisting of words learned up until the end of March this school year. They can find the flashcards for their class from this link https://tinyurl.com/56by8whc and download the PDF file to study.
- 時間: 四月十九日1:00-2:30pm，各組比賽時間不同，實際報到時間將再另行通知。為保持現場安靜，比賽的教室只開放給工作人員及裁判。學生不會看到其他參賽者的答題過程，答題結束即可離開。 Scoring: Each word recited and pronounced correctly receives 1 point.
- 成績:計分方式以三分鐘內念對的生字及造詞數量為準。舉例 : 若螢幕出現「天」字，學生必須念出「天，每天」，即得 2 分。 若學生只唸「天」字，不會造詞或造詞錯誤，得 1 分。遇到不會的字可以說「跳過」並繼續答題，跳過或答錯的字或詞不得分也不扣分。 Participants will receive their actual check-in time prior to the contest. They will be called one by one into a classroom, which will only be open to parent volunteers and judges. Students will not see how other participants answer. Participants can leave the contest room after their own test session ends.
獎勵方式 Awards
每位參賽者都會得到一張coupon，比賽也將選出表現優異的學生加以鼓勵，得獎者會多獲得一張coupon以及獎狀。 Each participant will receive one coupon, and all winners will receive one additional coupon as well as a certificate of award.
